Kaspa miners run the kHeavyHash algorithm, and the fleet choice comes down to two manufacturers: Bitmain's Antminer KS7 leads on efficiency at 77 W/TH and on cost at $51.25 per TH/s, while IceRiver covers everything from the 15 TH/s KS5M down to quiet 100 W desk miners. This guide compares every Kaspa, Alephium and Aleo model MineForgeX stocks on verified hashrate, power, efficiency and price, so a fleet plan can be priced before it is ordered.
Kaspa Miners at a Glance
Kaspa is a proof-of-work coin built for fast block times, and its kHeavyHash algorithm is mined only by ASICs. Kaspa drew fresh attention in October 2026, when the coin rose sharply and the Antminer KS7 ranked among the most profitable ASICs on hashrate.farm. MineForgeX stocks Bitmain and IceRiver for the algorithm, and the same IceRiver chassis family also mines Alephium and Aleo, so one supplier relationship can cover three coins.
- Two fleet manufacturers: Bitmain (KS7, KS5 Pro) and IceRiver (KS5M, KS5L, KS3M).
- One home range: IceRiver KS0 Ultra, KS0 Pro, AL0 and RX0 at 100 to 200 W and 30 to 35 dB.
- All fleet models run on standard 200 to 240 V single-phase power, so no three-phase supply is needed.
- Warranty splits by model: 12 months on Bitmain units and on IceRiver's AL3 and AE series, 6 months on IceRiver's KS5M, KS5L, KS3M and home range. All fleet models are in stock for spot delivery.
The kHeavyHash Fleet Ladder: Five Models Compared
The five fleet Kaspa miners span 6 TH/s to 40 TH/s, and the gap between the best and the rest is wide: the KS7 uses less than half the power per terahash of the KS5 Pro and roughly one-seventh of the KS3M. Power is the deciding cost for Kaspa fleets, because every model draws 3,080 to 3,400 W per unit. Note the units: kHeavyHash efficiency is quoted in watts per terahash, and it cannot be compared with SHA-256 figures in J/TH, because the algorithms do different work per hash.
| Model | Hashrate | Power | Efficiency | Price | Cost per TH/s |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Antminer KS7 | 40 TH/s | 3,080 W | 77 W/TH | $2,050 | $51.25 |
| Antminer KS5 Pro | 21 TH/s | 3,150 W | 150 W/TH | $1,890 | $90.00 |
| IceRiver KS5M | 15 TH/s | 3,400 W | 226 W/TH | $2,490 | $166.00 |
| IceRiver KS5L | 12 TH/s | 3,400 W | 283 W/TH | $1,990 | $165.83 |
| IceRiver KS3M | 6 TH/s | 3,400 W | 566 W/TH | $890 | $148.33 |
The efficiency leader: Antminer KS7
The KS7 is the fleet standard for Kaspa: 40 TH/s at 3,080 W and 77 W/TH, priced at $2,050, or $51.25 per TH/s. It carries a 12-month warranty, runs at 75 dB in an air-cooled hall, and is in stock for spot delivery. No other Kaspa miner comes close on either measure, so any fleet sized on power cost starts here: the full listing is on the [Antminer KS7 product page](/product/antminer-ks7-40t).
The mid-range: Antminer KS5 Pro and IceRiver KS5M
The KS5 Pro delivers 21 TH/s at 150 W/TH for $1,890, or $90.00 per TH/s, with a 12-month warranty. The KS5M delivers 15 TH/s at 226 W/TH for $2,490, or $166.00 per TH/s, with a 6-month warranty. The KS5 Pro is the better buy on both measures; the KS5M only wins where a buyer is already standardised on IceRiver hardware.
The entry models: IceRiver KS5L and KS3M
The KS5L delivers 12 TH/s for $1,990 and the KS3M delivers 6 TH/s for $890, the cheapest ticket into fleet Kaspa mining. Both carry a 6-month warranty and both draw the same 3,400 W as the larger models, so their cost per terahash is high and their watts per terahash are the worst in the range. Buy them for low entry cost and fast deployment, not for operating cost.
IceRiver Home and Desk Miners: Quiet Kaspa, Alephium and Radiant
IceRiver's home range is a different class of machine: 100 to 200 W, 30 to 35 dB, and a standard 100 to 240 V wall socket, so they run in an office or a spare room without a dedicated hall. The trade-off is cost per terahash: $372.50 to $671.15, against $51.25 for the KS7.
| Model | Coin | Hashrate | Power | Noise | Price | Cost per TH/s |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| IceRiver KS0 Ultra | Kaspa | 400 GH/s | 100 W | 35 dB | $249 | $622.50 |
| IceRiver KS0 Pro | Kaspa | 400 GH/s (2 x 200) | 200 W | 35 dB | $149 | $372.50 |
| IceRiver AL0 | Alephium | 400 GH/s | 100 W | 35 dB | $249 | $622.50 |
| IceRiver RX0 | Radiant | 520 GH/s (2 x 260) | 200 W | 35 dB | $349 | $671.15 |
What home miners are good for
- Learning the mining workflow and a coin's pool setup before committing fleet capital.
- Small-scale, quiet operation in an office or home where 75 dB fleet units cannot run.
Beyond Kaspa: Alephium and Aleo on the Same Racks
The same IceRiver range mines Alephium on Blake3 and Aleo on zkSNARK. Alephium efficiency is quoted in watts per terahash, like Kaspa; Aleo efficiency is quoted in watts per megahash, because the hashrate unit is different. Do not compare the two columns with each other, or either with SHA-256 J/TH. The AL3 is the Alephium flagship, and the AE3 is the Aleo flagship, both with a 12-month warranty.
| Model | Coin | Hashrate | Power | Efficiency | Price | Cost per unit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| IceRiver AL3 | Alephium | 15 TH/s | 3,500 W | 233 W/TH | $2,100 | $140.00 per TH/s |
| IceRiver AL2 Lite | Alephium | 2 TH/s | 500 W | 250 W/TH | $900 | $450.00 per TH/s |
| IceRiver AE3 | Aleo | 2 GH/s | 3,400 W | 1.7 W/MH | $5,999 | $2,999.50 per GH/s |
| IceRiver AE2 | Aleo | 720 MH/s | 1,300 W | 1.81 W/MH | $3,100 | $4,305.56 per GH/s |
| IceRiver AE1 Lite | Aleo | 300 MH/s | 500 W | 1.667 W/MH | $650 | $2,166.67 per GH/s |
| IceRiver AE0 | Aleo | 60 MH/s | 100 W | 1.667 W/MH | $299 | $4,983.33 per GH/s |
Alephium: IceRiver AL3 and AL2 Lite
The AL3 is the Alephium flagship: 15 TH/s at 3,500 W and 233 W/TH, priced at $2,100, or $140.00 per TH/s, with a 12-month warranty. The AL2 Lite is the quiet entry point at 2 TH/s, 500 W and 45 dB for $900, on limited allocation.
Aleo: IceRiver AE3, AE2, AE1 Lite and AE0
The AE3 is the Aleo flagship: 2 GH/s at 3,400 W and 1.7 W per MH/s, priced at $5,999, on limited allocation, and at 82 dB it belongs in a dedicated hall. The AE2 delivers 720 MH/s at 45 dB for $3,100, the AE1 Lite delivers 300 MH/s for $650, and the AE0 delivers 60 MH/s at just 30 dB for $299, the quietest Aleo miner in the range.
Power, Noise and Site Planning
Daily electricity is power multiplied by 24 hours: at $0.08 per kWh a KS7 uses 73.92 kWh per day and costs $5.91, while a KS5M uses 81.6 kWh and costs $6.53. Per terahash the gap is wider, because the KS7's 77 W/TH costs $0.1478 per TH/s per day against $1.0867 for the KS3M's 566 W/TH. These are electricity costs only: revenue depends on the coin price and network difficulty, which move daily, so no income or payback figure is stated here. Model revenue against these costs with the [mining calculator](/calculator) at your own power price.
| Model | W/TH | Daily cost per TH/s at $0.08/kWh | Daily electricity per unit at $0.08/kWh |
|---|---|---|---|
| Antminer KS7 | 77 | $0.1478 | $5.91 |
| Antminer KS5 Pro | 150 | $0.2880 | $6.05 |
| IceRiver KS5M | 226 | $0.4339 | $6.53 |
| IceRiver KS5L | 283 | $0.5434 | $6.53 |
| IceRiver KS3M | 566 | $1.0867 | $6.53 |
A 1 PH/s fleet built from the KS7 needs 25 units, drawing 77.0 kW and costing $51,250. The same capacity from the KS5 Pro needs 48 units (1,008 TH/s), drawing 151.2 kW and costing $90,720. From the KS5M it needs 67 units (1,005 TH/s), drawing 227.8 kW and costing $166,830. The KS7 fleet costs $115,580 less to buy than the KS5M fleet and draws 150.8 kW less. Noise decides the hall as well: fleet units run at 75 to 82 dB and need a dedicated space, while the home range runs at 30 to 45 dB. The [turnkey infrastructure](/infrastructure) options cover containers, immersion tanks and dry coolers for the fleet side of the build.
Choosing a Kaspa Fleet for Your Site
Start from power price, then pick the model. Where power is expensive, the KS7's 77 W/TH is the pick; where power is cheap and budget is tight, the KS5 Pro or the KS3M's low ticket price wins. Home miners belong at home, and Alephium or Aleo capacity belongs after the Kaspa core is sized.
Who this guide is for, and who it is not for
This guide is for data centre operators, institutional buyers and fleet owners adding kHeavyHash, Alephium or Aleo capacity. It is not for buyers choosing between algorithms on efficiency alone, and it is not a revenue forecast: no figure here promises income.
